One hobby that I’ve steadily picked up over the past year or so is that of homebrewing. To date I’ve made a pale ale, an oatmeal stout, an amber ale and a raspberry wheat. At the moment, I’ve got a Belgian brewing in my studio. Today I brewed my first Pumpkin Spice ale, and here’s how I did it.

Not knowing which would serve me better, I made a spreadsheet to help me decide what to do. Click the thumbnail to see a larger screenshot.

Since posting my cover of Elliott Smith’s Tomorrow Tomorrow on YouTube a few months ago, I’ve received several requests for help from enthusiastic guitarists looking to learn the song themselves. Rather than address everybody in a brief reply, I thought I would make a thorough post explaining how I learned to play the more difficult parts of the song. If this post doesn’t cut it, let me know!
